Did you ever want to see and learn how maple sap is turned into maple syrup? Visit the Ioka Valley Farm Maple Barn (sugar house) and watch maple syrup being made. It's the building with the steam and smoke billowing from the roof top.
Upon walking into the sugar house you will be greeted by the sugar maker, warm stove and the sweet aroma of maple sap boiling in the massive evaporators. Spend some time asking questions and taking in the tantilizing sweet aroma of maple syrup.
Open to visitors whenever we're boiling, mid-February through April. Watch the sap flow from the trees. Taste the fresh maple syrup on our homemade pancakes in the Main Barn Calf-A
